Once we receive your initial enquiry, we will discuss your general requirements and get to know you in more detail. We can go through our services in more detail, give you an initial outline of our prices, and discuss how a care package might be funded. We’ll give you as much advice and information as possible.
Following our initial discussions with you, we will arrange for a team member to visit you at your home and thoroughly assess your needs. If required, you are welcome to have family members present to support you through the discussion and make sure you are happy with what is being discussed. The meeting will include a risk assessment to ensure you and our care worker’s safety. Based on this assessment, we can offer a fully costed care package and advice on paying for care.
We will discuss any further questions from the assessment and finalise the care plan you will receive with you and any relevant family members. We want you to be happy with every aspect of the plan, and once you are, we can move to the next step.
We will identify a suitable carer from within Village Care to deliver your care plan and arrange for them to meet with you so that you can get to know them. If additional training requirements are required to deliver your care plan, these will also be coordinated at this stage.
Your care plan commences with us, and we welcome you aboard! We will be in touch at regular intervals to ensure you are happy with how things are going, and we have the opportunity to make any necessary changes.
