Every client we have is unique and has different needs and preferences as to how they wish to maintain their lifestyle and the level of support they need. Village Care Ltd recognises this and ensures that at every step of the way you are encouraged to make your own choices about your care plan. We will listen carefully to your requirements.
From your initial contact with us, we will arrange for a member of our care team to visit you at a convenient time and – along with any family members you would like present – carry out a full assessment of your individual circumstances and needs. From that assessment, we will be able to tailor and cost a care package that fully meets your needs.
We’ll follow a simple 5 stage process to get you on board
Contact Us
Once we receive your initial enquiry, we will discuss your general requirements and get to know you in a bit more detail. We can go through our services in more detail and give you an initial outline of our prices and also discuss how a care package might be funded. We’ll give you as much advice and information as possible.
Comprehensive Care Assessment
Following our initial discussions with you, we will arrange for a member of our team to visit you at your home and carry out a full assessment of your needs. You are welcome to have family members present to support you through the discussion if you require, just to make sure you are happy with what is being discussed. The meeting will include a risk assessement to ensure you and our care workers safety. From this assessment, we will be able to offer a fully costed care package.
Finalise and Agree Care plan
We will discuss any further questions you may have from the assessment and finalise the care plan you will receive, with you and any relevant members of your family. We want you to be happy with every aspect of the plan, and once you are, we can move to the next step.
Meet Your Carer
We will identify a suitable carer from within Village Care to deliver your care plan and arrange for them to meet with you so that you can get to know them. If any additional training requirements are required to deliver your care plan, these will also be co-ordinated at this stage.
Your Care Plan Commences
Your care plan commences with us and we welcome you aboard! We will be in touch at regular intervals to ensure you are happy with how things are going and we have the opportunity to make any necessary changes.
